Book Julia's on Broadway for your private events.  Utilize our show room as your classroom, power breakfast, luncheon, private dinner or cocktail mixer location.  We offer Food & Beverage service for your guests plus we can book top notch talent should you wish! With or without a show, Julia's on Broadway is your all ages venue of choice for all of your function needs.

Hold your next private event or corporate meeting in an event space that has been historically LGBTQ+ for over 20 years.  As a restaurant and showroom we have been LGBTQ+ owned and operated for 20+ years.  In addition, our talent is majority LGBTQ and allies of the LGBTQ community.  We value diversity in our staff, performers and our audiences.  Come and experience a space that has a rich history of diversity on Capitol Hill in Seattle.

  • We offer continental breakfast, breakfast buffet or table service.  
  • Continental Breakfast - This is setup buffet style in our dining room for your guests. Includes pastries, yogurt and fruit. $10++ per person
  • Breakfast Buffet - This is setup buffet style in our dining room for your guests.  Includes hot and cold items like eggs, bacon, toast, pancakes, sausage, hash browns. $25++ per person
  • Table Service - This is served to order with a paired down menu from our breakfast/brunch item offerings. Please let us know your 3 mains and 2 sides you would like to include.  $35++ per person.

AMMENITIES: Audio & Visual

Full sound system plus projector and screen available on-site. Please come with your own laptop to plug in via HDMI cable or a flash drive that includes your electronic display items.  If you have additional A/V needs, please communicate with us ahead of your event. We are happy to work with you on any A/V needs you may have.

Our audio and video technician is a flat fee of minimum $200 per day for up to 8 hours. Each additional hour is $40 per hour beyond 8 hours.  We value the skills of our employees and look to create an inclusive and welcoming environment. We will work with your group to ensure breaks are at a time that meets your schedule while respecting the needs of our employees. 

At this time, we do not offer audio conferencing or video conferencing capabilities.  However, if you have a system that you would like to bring in, we welcome outside audio & video vendors and can recommend A/V folks for your needs. Outside services are not included in the cost of your rental. You will be responsible for the cost of outside A/V resources.  

SERVICE & MINIMUMS

Food & Beverage Minimums vary by date.  Our typical F&B minimum is $1000 per event not including tax and tip.  We believe in paying our service staff for their work while ensuring they have tips from their shifts.  18% gratuity is added to all group events. Gratuity is split by the service staff.  Taxes also added to your bill at current tax rate. 

Food & Beverage Minimums for Private Events Sunday Afternoon - Thursday Evening
  • Breakfast & Lunch: $1,000++
  • Dinner: $1,500++
  • Cocktail Hour: $1,000++

Food & Beverage minimums do not include taxes and gratuities.  F&B minimums that are not met will have a room rental cost that makes up the difference.  

Ages

Julia's on Broadway is an all ages venue that also has a bar.  In the bar area only those 21+ are permitted. In the showroom and restaurant we are all ages.  We invite all ages to attend group rentals.  

Payment & Deposit

We accept all major credit cards, checks and cash. Upon booking, you will be asked to provide a 20% non-refundable deposit. This deposit will be applied to your bill on the day of your event.  Should you cancel your event, this deposit will be held by the venue and you will not receive your deposit back.  Deposits must be received in order for us to hold your date on the calendar.  Deposits can be paid by credit card, check or cash.  

Cancellation policy

Should your plans change, please provide notice at least 20 days in advance of your event.  In the City of Seattle, we aim to book our staff at least 2 weeks in advance of special events.  We do this to comply with state and city regulations.  If you should cancel your event within the 20 days leading up to your event date, you will not receive your deposit back. Moving your event date back to avoid cancellation fees is not permitted. We do this because we value our employees and schedule them for your originally chosen date.  The moving of your date results in an actual loss to the business in the form of employee wages and potentially fines from the city and state should our staff who are scheduled be called off instead.
